Results speak for themselves

Engaging the government, media and public on the issues and solutions linked to carbon emissions and domestic heating were a challenge Curve was delighted to take on. We provided a range of communications services to support the MCS Foundation whose vision is for ‘a world where everyone has access to affordable and reliable renewable energy’.

The work included strategy and media plan delivery for a range of the charity’s initiatives. Their team tasked us with developing several products to gain maximum coverage amongst target audiences. These included a YouGov poll of MPs on domestic heating, a report on hydrogen vs heat pumps in UK homes, a photo call at the Treasury and other materials.

“I cannot recommend Curve highly enough. They are professional, supportive, provide advice and help develop strong media stories that were delivered so successfully that we achieved more than 120 media articles from one report launch for which they headed up the communications engagement. This is one of the best PR companies I have ever used and the results speak for themselves.”

Every subject received widespread media coverage, with pieces in publications such as DeHavilland taking the story to a key political audience.

The report on hydrogen vs heat pumps received blanket coverage across all UK regions with the extensive media interest leading to over 120 articles in regional, national and trade publications.

Our hope is that widespread coverage of reports like this take some members of the public a little further on that journey towards understanding how through their own small actions (thinking about their future heating needs), and government help, we can all do our bit to help hit future emissions targets and minimise the impacts of climate change.
